Group is limited to six (four plus me and a friend).
HOWEVER, if we fill up, it is possible to book additional rooms and rent a second vehicle at this time.
We will fly from the US to Bilbao, Spain where I will pick up the rental vehicle.
I will then drive us to the Sites, then to Mini Hollywood near Almeria, then a day in Malaga, then home.
Approx $1065 for Hotels/Per Room. Three rooms (two double beds each) have been booked! Approximate Airfare - $1900. The cost of the rental vehicle in Spain is on me. 😉
We can make your flight reservations, but you are welcome to make your own and meet us at the hotel in Bilbao. We are going no matter what!
(NOTE: We were able to book flights with United for just under $1,500 each!)
You are on your own for food and incidentals.
Itinerary is as follows:
Once we arrive in Santo Domingo de Silos our expert guide Kevin Duffield https://www.facebook.com/kevin.duffield.315 who created the Facebook Group Sad Hill and Beyond (The Good, The Bad and The Ugly) https://www.facebook.com/groups/7672430509468364 will be our group leader.
From there we will join Kevin at the Hotel Tres Coronas in Santo Domingo de Silos and follow him to the various sites.
Sad Hill Cemetery, Betterville Prisoner of War Camp Site, Langstone Bridge site of the battle trenches, San Pedro Monastery used for the interior filming of the missionary. Hotel where film crew stayed included the room where Clint slept.
8/15 – We drive all the way to Almeria, Hotel (I’ll provide soon.)
If there are no additional takers by the end of July this offer will be withdrawn, but we are going no matter what.
